The Tour de France have confirmed that Stage 20 on Saturday will be shortened due to poor weather and possible landslides. The 106th edition of Tour de France took cyclists through 21 gruelling stages that stretched across 3,480 km (2,162 mi). The world’s greatest cycling event started on 6th July in Brussels. Defending champion Geraint Thomas gained time on a handful of his main rivals as crosswinds caused chaos in the peloton in the climax of Monday's 10th stage of the Tour de France.

Tour de France is one of three most prestigious multiple stage bicycle racing tournament which held annually since the inaugural season in 1903. This cycling event used to stage every year since the beginning but few season stopped for two world wars. This year 107th edition of Tour de France is scheduled to run from 27 June to 19 July, 2020 which is organized by Amaury Sport Organization. This cycling event is also a part of UCI World Tour.
